Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Participates in IFRI Round Table

HE the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah Rashid Al Khater participated in a round table at the French Institute for International Relations (IFRI) in Paris, on ''reproduction of inclusiveness in the Middle East: dow does the West responds''.

Founder and Executive Chairman of IFRI Thierry de Montbrial moderated the session, which witnessed the participation of a group of European ambassadors, politicians, researchers, opinion leaders and delegations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the French Republic.

During her chairmanship of the round table, HE Al Khater reviewed the situation in the Middle East through a comprehensive historical and political reading of the roots that led to the current reality in the region.

Her Excellency responded to the questions and inquiries of the IFRI Chairman and French and European dignitaries on political issues of common interest, such as the situations in Syria, Libya, and Sudan.

In addition, HE Lolwah Rashid Al Khater met with HE Pascal Brindeau, Member of the French Parliament and chairman of the Qatari-French Friendship Group in Parliament, and HE Jerome Lambert, Socialists' Party's Member of the French Parliament and secretary of the Qatari-French Friendship Group in Parliament.

During the two meetings, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and topics of mutual interest.
