HE President of Republic of Iraq Barham Salih met on Wednesday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, during the official visit of His Excellency to Iraq.

During the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of Iraq and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Iraq.

For his part, HE the Iraqi President entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir and his wishes of health and happiness to him as well as his wishes of more progress and prosperity to the people of Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means to promote them in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.
