The State of Qatar Participates in Meeting of Arab Environment Ministers

The 30th session of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment began Thursday, chaired by Lebanon.

The State of Qatar is participating with a delegation chaired by Qatar's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi.

The meeting will discuss 23 topics. Those topics will include the guidelines for choosing an environmental capital of the Arab World, following up on the resolutions of Arab summits that were dedicated to environmental issues, discussing the performance of Arab countries according to environmental and sustainable development indicators. The meeting will also discuss the environmental developments in Palestine, Sudan, Somalia, Comoros, Djibouti, Libya, and Yemen.
