Qatar Deposits Instruments of Accession to International Covenant

HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Ambassador Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani on Monday deposited with the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs Qatar's instrument of accession to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and Qatar's instrument of accession to the Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
This comes on the basis of the Council of Ministers' decision to accede to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
