President of Venezuela Meets Qatar's Ambassador

HE President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro Moros, received Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela HE Batal bin Mojab Batal Al Dosari on the occasion of ending his term in office.
In a ceremony at the Presidential Palace, HE the president awarded HE the Ambassador of Qatar the Order of Francisco de Miranda Medal, which is Venezuela's highest honor for non-presidents.
HE the Venezuelan President said that Ambassador Al Dosari was one of the people that contributed to developing ties between the State of Qatar and Venezuela, noting that Qatar has a leading status in the Middle-East that is highly appreciated in Venezuela.
For his part, the Qatari ambassador thanked the Venezuelan government for their support to him during his time in Caracas and expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic and the Government and people of Venezuela for their great honoring, which extends to the State of Qatar.
The ceremony was attended by the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs and his deputies, a number of ambassadors accredited in Caracas and representatives of the media.
