Foreign Minister Holds Telephone Conversation with Japanese Counterpart

HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Thursday held via telephone a conversation with HE Foreign Minister of Japan Taro Kono.

HE the Foreign Minister congratulated his Japanese counterpart on his selection as Foreign Minister of Japan and wished him success in carrying out his new mission.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of enhancing them. They also reviewed issues of common concern in addition to the developments of the Gulf crisis.
