Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, on the sidelines of the International Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region, being held at the EU headquarters in Brussels. 
The meeting discussed developments in Syria. 
HE the Foreign Minister referred to the gas attack carried out by aircraft in Idlib province, northwest Syria, stressing that all those responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Syria should be brought to justice. 
HE the Minister also affirmed the importance of a peaceful political transition in accordance with the Geneva Conventions (1) and relevant Security Council resolutions, as a condition for starting the process of reconstruction and the willingness of the international community to participate in it.
