Doha/ Information Office/ 03 January 2017/ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' International Cooperation Department held today a workshop, in coordination with the Diplomatic Institute, on developmental aid policies of the State of Qatar.

The workshop aimed also to familiarize the participants with aspects of Emiri decision no. 27 of 2016 on the organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Participants in the workshop included members of charitable organizations, NGOs and specialized academic centers working in Qatar.

The workshop covered a range of topics including the best practices to maximize the national effort in the field of developmental and humanitarian aid. It also discussed ways to guarantee the continuous flow of aid in accordance to the state's policies. A third topic was on producing periodic reports summarizing the activities of different organizations active in that field.
