Qatar Condemns Armed Attack on a Prison in Bahrain
Doha/ Information Office/ 01 January 2017/ The State of Qatar has strongly condemned an armed attack on a prison in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which left a soldier dead while repelling the attack.
In a statement released today, the Foreign Ministry voiced Qatar's solidarity with Bahrain and its support to measures taken by Bahrain to address such despicable acts and maintain security and stability in the country.
The Ministry expressed confidence in the ability of security agencies to identify the perpetrators of this heinous crime and bring criminals to justice.
The Ministry's statement extended sincere condolences to the leadership, government and people of Bahrain and the family of the martyr.
