Lebanese President Meets Qatari Ambassador
Beirut/Information Office/22 November 2016/ President of the Lebanese Republic General Michel Aoun met today with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Hamad Al Marri during his participation in the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Lebanon.
HE Ambassador Al Marri conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani to the Lebanese President wishing him good health and happiness, and the Republic of Lebanon more progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Lebanese President asked HE the Ambassador to convey greetings to HH the Emir, wishing for his continued good health and happiness and the State of Qatar's leadership and people further progress and prosperity.
HE the Qatari Ambassador also attended the military parade, invited by the Army Commander Gen. Jean Kahwaji.
