Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets Australian Deputy Secretary, International Security, Legal and Consular Group, in Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade

HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met Wednesday with HE Deputy Secretary, International Security, Legal and Consular Group, in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Commonwealth of Australia Craig Maclachlan, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the necessity of continuing the sustainable entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and strengthening regional and international efforts aimed at an immediate ceasefire.
For his part, HE Deputy Secretary, International Security, Legal and Consular Group, in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Commonwealth of Australia expressed his country's appreciation for the constant Qatari mediation efforts to release the prisoners. He also thanked the State of Qatar for its efforts in evacuating Australian citizens from the Gaza Strip.
