IAEA Director General Receives Credentials of Qatar's Permanent Representative

HE International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi received the credentials of HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to IAEA Ambassador Jassim Yaaqob Al Hamadi.
HE the IAEA Director General praised the cooperation between the State of Qatar and IAEA, especially the State of Qatar’s continuous support for the agency’s various programs and projects, solidifying international cooperation and promoting the peaceful uses of nuclear energy globally.
For his part, HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to IAEA affirmed the agency’s significant role in preventing nuclear proliferation, developing nuclear technologies, and assisting Member States in benefiting from them, praising the technical assistance that IAEA provides to Qatari institutions.
