Doha, March 06

HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met Monday with HE Ukraine's Special Envoy for the Middle East and Africa Ambassador Maxim Sobh, on the sidelines of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, held in Doha.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, and ways to support and develop them, especially in the development and economic fields.
HE the Assistant Foreign Minister affirmed the position of the State of Qatar and its keenness on the United Nations Charter and the established principles of international law, including obligations under the Charter to settle international disputes by peaceful means, refraining from the threat or use of force, and commitment to the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of states.
