Qatar Takes Part in 121th Session of Permanent Council of Francophonie

The State of Qatar participated in the 121th session of the Permanent Council of the Francophonie that was convened in Paris via video conference technology under the chairmanship of HE Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) Louise Mushikiwabo.
HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic and its representative to OIF Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani represented the State of Qatar in the meeting.
The meeting discussed the ongoing preparations to organize the18th Summit of La Francophonie to be held Nov. 19 and 20, 2022, in Tunisia's Djerba preceded by the convention of the 43rd Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie on Nov. 18,2022.
During the meeting, the (OIF) State representatives adopted the draft agenda for the 43rd Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie, the 18th session of the Summit of La Francophonie, and the draft strategic framework for the activities of the Organization for the period 2023/2030, as well as a set of administrative and financial decisions.
