Qatar participates in the joint meeting of the NATO Council and the countries of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative

The State of Qatar participated in the joint meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and the countries of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, which was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and NATO, represented the State of Qatar in the meeting.
During the meeting, the challenges in the field of energy security and sea lanes were discussed.
In a speech during the meeting, His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Malki stressed the importance of cooperation and partnership between the countries of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative and NATO, noting that the two sides face common challenges and share the same aspirations for peace and stability throughout the globe, calling for concerted efforts and strengthening their joint work.
