HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict Virginia Gamba, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed the cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the UN, the situation of children in areas of armed conflict, and ways to protect children victims of armed conflicts.
The meeting touched upon the joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the analysis and communication center of the Office of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, which will be opened at the UN House in Doha.
