Political Consultation Committee Between Qatar, Iran Holds its First Meeting in Tehran

The first meeting of the Political Consultation Committee between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Iran was held Tuesday, in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
HE the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, headed the Qatari side while HE Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Ali Bagheri, headed the Iranian side.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the minutes of the first meeting of the Political Consultation Committee between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Iran were signed.
The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri, HE Director of Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yousef bin Sultan Laram, and the accompanying delegation.
