Assistant Foreign Minister Meets US Coordinator for Efforts to Relocate Afghans

HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met today with HE Ambassador Elizabeth Jones, the US coordinator for efforts to relocate Afghans.
During the meeting they reviewed the developments of the situation in Afghanistan, efforts to resettle Afghans and Qatar's hosting of the Afghan brothers.
The US coordinator for efforts to relocate Afghans toured the temporary housing and care for the Afghan brothers who are temporarily being hosted by the State of Qatar until they reach their final destination.
During the tour, HE the US Ambassador met with some Afghans in temporary facilities to review their conditions and the services provided to them. She also inspected service, educational, sports, recreational and health facilities.
Jones expressed the United States' appreciation for the efforts of the State of Qatar in caring for and hosting families and children who were evacuated from Afghanistan.
