Qatar Participates in Arab League's Emergency Meeting to Discuss Attacks on Civilian Areas in UAE

The League of Arab States held on Sunday an emergency meeting at the level of permanent delegates to discuss the recent attacks of civilian areas in the United Arab Emirates that led to several deaths and injuries.
In the meeting, the delegation of the State of Qatar was headed by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the Arab League Ambassador Salem Mubarak Al Shafi.
In his speech during the opening session, HE Ambassador Al Shafi reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance in strongly rejecting and condemning the recent attacks that targeted civilian areas in the UAE that led to several deaths and injuries.
His Excellency said that the State of Qatar considers targeting civilian installations and vital facilities a terrorist act that violates all international norms and laws.
His Excellency also reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorist acts that target civilians and civilian facilities, pointing out Qatar's warning that the continuation of such actions can create instability in the region.
