Qatar, International Peace Institute Sign Partnership Agreement

 The State of Qatar and the International Peace Institute (IPI) signed a partnership agreement at the headquarters of the permanent mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in New York.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the State of Qatar by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Ambassador Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, while IPI's President and CEO Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Al Hussein signed the agreement on behalf of the International Peace Institute.

The International Peace Institute (IPI) is an independent, international not-for-profit think tank, located in New York. It is dedicated to managing risk and building resilience to promote peace, security, and sustainable development.

Founded in 1970, the Institute has important contributions to multilateral efforts to prevent and resolve armed conflicts around the world, and has activities in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Central Asia.
