HE Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan met in Islamabad on Thursday with HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and the developments in Afghanistan.

The Pakistani Prime Minister expressed his country's thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its efforts and support for the peace process in Afghanistan and its pivotal role in facilitating evacuations from Afghanistan.

The visit comes within the framework of the State of Qatar's efforts to contribute to achieving comprehensive peace and lasting stability in Afghanistan.
