The State of Qatar participated in the 148th meeting of the GCC ministerial council that took place at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The State of Qatar's delegation was chaired by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

The ministerial meeting dealt with a number of reports following up the implementation of the Supreme Council's resolutions in the Sultan Qaboos and Sheikh Sabah summit in Al Ula, the reports presented by ministerial and technical committees as well as the general secretariat, in addition to subjects related between the GCC's strategic ties with other countries and international blocs. The meeting also dealt with reviewing regional and international developments, and the region's latest developments.
