Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Egyptian Foreign Minister

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shoukry, who is currently visiting the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, especially in the field of investment, and the exchange of support in international forums, in addition to the latest developments in the region, particularly the developments of the Palestinian Cause and the current situation in Libya.

The two sides stressed the importance of coordinating the regional efforts to reach solutions that guarantee the security and stability of the region and encourage joint cooperation.

During the meeting, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs noted the positive developments in the relations between the two countries, stressing that these developments enhance the security and stability of the region.

HE the Foreign Minister renewed the State of Qatar's thanks to the Arab Republic of Egypt for its efforts that contributed to the recent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and stressed the leading role of the Egyptian community in the public and private sectors.

For his part, HE Sameh Shoukry expressed the Arab Republic of Egypt's thanks to the State of Qatar for holding the emergency consultative meeting on the Renaissance Dam in Doha.

HE the Egyptian Foreign Minister commended the efforts of the State of Qatar through its chairmanship of the Ministerial Committee of the Arab League, wishing success to HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in this regard and expressed his thanks to the State of Qatar for its care of the Egyptian community.
