HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom Yousef bin Ali Al Khater met with HE Sir David Amess, the new chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) concerned with the State of Qatar.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral cooperation ties between the two countries.

In the same context, HE the Ambassador also attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Group which was held virtually on Wednesday in the presence of a number of members of the House of Commons and Lords.

The works of the newly elected Group were inaugurated during the meeting.

In his speech to the meeting, HE the Ambassador shed light on Qatars preparations to host the 2022 World Cup, the minimum wage law in the State of Qatar, and other issues related to the Groups work. He also answered the Groups inquiries regarding the Qatari-British relations and the regional developments.
