HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr Ayman Al-Safadi, on the occasion of his visit to the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed the distinguished and advanced cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and means of supporting and developing them in all fields, especially in economic and investment domains, in addition to discussing developments in the region, especially the Palestinian cause and the upcoming Palestinian elections.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate of Jordan stressed during the meeting the importance of achieving Palestinian national reconciliation and uniting the Palestinian ranks. They also stressed their support for holding Palestinian elections.

They stressed need to intensify efforts to resolve crises, achieve security and stability in the region, and activate joint Arab action to confront common challenges.
