Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets Libyan Foreign and Interior Ministers

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Monday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Libya in the Government of National Accord Mohamed Al-Taher Siala, and HE Minister of Interior in the State of Libya's Government of National Accord Fathi Ali Bashagha, and their accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation, and the latest developments in Libya.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's support for the Government of National Accord, stressing the need for the Libyan parties to implement the Skhirat Agreement, Security Council resolutions, and the results of the Berlin Conference to reinforce the course of a political solution to the crisis.

His Excellency reiterated the State of Qatar's welcome to the ceasefire agreement in all Libyan territories, stressing Qatar's full support for Libya's sovereignty, unity and stability.
