HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met in Beirut on Tuesday with HE Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon "Banque du Liban" Riad Salame.

The Governor of the central bank extended thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its positions supportive to Lebanon, praising the $50 million contribution provided by the State of Qatar at the International Conference on Support to Beirut and the Lebanese People.

The meeting reviewed Qatar's support to Lebanon to face the economic crisis and the impacts of Beirut Port explosion on the economy, as well as issues of mutual concern.
