Qatar's Embassy Delivers Medical Aid Shipment to Mexico

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the United Mexican States provided a shipment of medical aid to Mexico, including medical and protective equipment and supplies worth $200,000 sponsored by Qatar Charity.

The aid shipment was delivered to the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs in the presence of HE Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs Marcelo Ebrard, HE Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights Martha Delgado and HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Mexico Mohammed bin Jassim Al Kuwari.

The Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs thanked, in a speech, the State of Qatar for standing with Mexico during the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and spoke about the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Al Kuwari explained that this initiative aims to enhance the support of the health sector in Mexico to face the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
