The State of Qatar welcomes the agreement reached by Azerbaijan and Armenia on the border demarcation in the territories belonging to four villages, and the ongoing demarcation of the border between the two countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses Qatar's hope that this preliminary agreement will pave the way for resolving outstanding issues between the two sides through dialogue and peaceful means, in pursuit of the interests of the two countries and the aspirations of their peoples for development and prosperity.

The Ministry reiterates Qatar's support for international efforts aimed at restoring security, stability and peace in the region.
