The Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with specialized institutions in the state, Issues many new releases and publications both in Arabic and English languages. The publications usually monitor the developments on the local scene and reflect the features and manifestations of the progress and development achieved by the State as being demonstrated along the political, diplomatic, educational, tourist, economic, industrial, architectural and art sectors. These manifestations are depicted in such a harmony that reflects the State of Qatar's movement towards a consistent array that combines modern requirements of architecture and the bright and redolent images of the past which demonstrate environmental sustainability created by innovative Qatari hands and minds which are further planning to lay the foundation of a modern and state-of-the-art country, having the Qatari human being as its primary pillar and H.H. the Emir (may Allah protect him) steering its ship towards horizons of progress and prosperity.

The Modern Qatar

The "Modern Qatar" publication tackles the theme of modern renaissance witnessed by the State of Qatar and the role played by its wise leadership in supporting whatsoever capacities that would be conducive to the increase of the country's resources and upgrading of its capabilities for innovation and modernization across economic, social, sports, and public relations fields. This in addition to the leaderships intentions of preparing citizens in such a way as to cope with changes, optimally adapt themselves to the modernization trend and create initiatives that will bring a lot of achievements and integrate the latter into the Qatari heritage and culture.

Qatarimage

This exquisite publication depicts the various stages through which Qatar forged its own path to modernity from its beginnings as a region of pearl fishers and Bedouin tribes. It incorporates both totally modern aspects of the State of Qatar alongside some features of Qatar's past.

A medium- format volume on the State of Qatar was issued in collaboration with the French Company Michel Hetier . It contains historical, economic, cultural and touristc information about Qatar in separate English and French versions.

A deluxe book comprising 130 pages containing rare black and white pictures from the fifties to the eighties. It was issued in Arabic and English.

An exquisite large-sized volume on the State of Qatar, issued in collaboration with (Jeem) Establishment for publicity and Advertisement. The book - issued in Arabic language - comprises several chapters containing general information about the rise and progress in the State.

Middle-sized book issued in English and containing information of interest to the visitor. The book comprises 280 pages.
