Argentinian Government Grants Qatari Ambassador High Order for Advancing Bilateral Ties

The government of Argentina granted HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Argentine Republic Fahad bin Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana the Order of the Liberator General San Martin, which is the highest decoration awarded to foreign presidents, government heads, ministers, ambassadors and officials who provided great services to develop relations between their countries and Argentina.

The announcement was made during the farewell ceremony held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Argentine Republic, in honor of HE Qatar's Ambassador to Argentina on the occasion of ending his tenure in the country.

During the ceremony, HE Argentina's Secretary of Foreign Affairs Gustavo Zlauvinen praised the efforts made by HE Fahad bin Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana during his mission in developing bilateral relations. He added that his efforts resulted in achieving great relations and based on that the government decided to grant him the Order of the Liberator General San Martin.

For his part, HE Ambassador Al Mana expressed thanks to the Argentinian government and people for their hospitality and preparedness to cooperate in order to improve the relations with the State of Qatar.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials, heads of departments at the Argentinian Foreign Ministry, heads and representatives of the Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to Argentina, as well as a number of prominent public figures.
