 Qatar Will Remain A supportive to Tunisian People : AlAttiyah

Tunis /Information Office/ 06 June 2015/ HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah affirmed Friday that Qatar, under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, will remain a supportive to the Tunisian people. Speaking at the second anniversary celebration of the Qatar Friendship Fund (QFF) held in Tunis today under the theme "Your success honors us", Hence the directives of HH the Emir being made, devising a new form of cooperation represented in the creation of QFF in Tunisia which is based primarily on the principle of partnership with public and private establishments in order to enhance their capacity to provide appropriate climate to support Tunisian young people in entrepreneurship field through its integrated system of sustainability a matter which has a positive impact on the comprehensive development and the Tunisian economy. HE the Foreign Minister stressed that Qatar's support to Tunisia come in line of fraternal relations and historic links between the two peoples in the context of the foreign policy of the state that among its top priorities is to achieve integration and compatibility with Islamic and Arab surroundings and to build effective partnerships to address regional and global transformations. During his meeting with a group of Tunisian young people, Al Attiyah expressed his pleasure over achieving their ambitions, dreams and turning them into reality, saying that young people represent a national wealth to Tunisia in strengthening its further progress and prosperity. Noting to the Tunisian youth as a pioneering role in achieving successful democratic process crowned with constitutional document and holding of legislative and presidential elections within the framework of the reconciliation and harmony among all components of Tunisian people, which has become a model. He said that investment in knowledge is one of the main reasons for the progress and prosperity of the developing states and achieves high growth rates, as they play a leading role in this respect through their participation in decision-making and wealth creation. He expressed his confidence that the repetition of such meetings will lead to achieve interests of the two peoples. During the second anniversary ceremony of QFF , Al Attiyah has honored the first batch of entrepreneurs and beneficiaries of Qatar Friendship Fund (QFF) in the presence of Tunisian Foreign Minister Taieb Baccouche, Tunisian Minister of Vocational Training and Employment Ziad Laadhari , Tunisian Minister of Communication Technologies and Digital Economy Noman Fihri, Tunisian Minister of higher education and scientific research Shahab-Boden, Tunisian Minister of Tourism Ms. Selma Elloumi-Rekik, Tunisian Minister of environment Najeeb Darwish along with heads representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Tunis.
