Qatar Affirms Commitment to Implement Recommendations of Doha Declaration to Achieve Agenda of Sustainable Development Goals

The State of Qatar has affirmed its commitment to the implementation of the Doha Declaration recommendations as a means of achieving the agenda of the sustainable development goals.

The Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Austria Abdullah Nasser Al Hajri said in a statement on the occasion of the opening of the Global Program for the Implementation of the Doha Declaration at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, that the partnership between the State of Qatar and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is based on the implementation of Doha Declaration through the launch of the Global Program for the Implementation of the Doha Declaration, which was extended until the end of 2020.

This program has always helped and will help to implement projects in several countries in the world in a number of areas, especially in the fight against corruption and the rehabilitation of prisoners and their reintegration into society, as well as the prevention of crime among young people by supporting sports.
