The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations delegation, which includes participants from Europe and North America, today visited the Sheikh Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, the Qatar National Museum and the Doha International Centre for Interfaith Dialogue (DICID).

The visit from 5 to 10 July, is part of the United Nations 2019 fellowship programme entitled "The role of women in peacemaking and conflict prevention".

It is also part of the partnership between the Qatari Committee of the Alliance of Civilizations and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, with a view to understanding the history of the State, its historical and cultural landmarks, closer cooperation between races, religions and cultures.

The delegation on Saturday visited Msheireb Museums and participated in an open panel discussion organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
