A round of political consultations was held on Thursday in Rome, Italy between the Foreign Ministries of the State of Qatar and the Italian Republic.

The Qatari side was chaired by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, whereas the Italian side was chaired by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Elisabetta Belloni.

During the consultations, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments.
