New York/Information Office/ 19 September 2017/ HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani met at noon today with HE the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, at the Organization's headquarters in New York City.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of regional and international issues, particularly the Middle East, including the developments of the Gulf crisis , as well as the latest developments in Palestine, Syria, Yemen and Libya.
The two sides also reviewed relations of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Organization and ways to develop them, in addition to the most important topics on the agenda of the 72nd Session of the General Assembly.
The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir.
It was also attended by a number of senior officials at the Office of the UN Secretary-General.
