New York/Information Office/ 19 September 2017/ HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani met here, at noon today with HE the Prime Minister of the friendly United Kingdom, Theresa May, on the sidelines of the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means of developing mutual cooperation between the two countries in various fields. They also exchanged views on various developments on the regional and international arenas, especially the latest developments of the Gulf crisis and the international efforts in support of the sisterly State of Kuwait mediation to resolve the crisis through diplomatic dialogue.
The meeting was attended by Their Excllencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir.
It was also attended by the members of the delegation accompanying the HE the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
