Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets Kuwaiti Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights

HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met here on Monday with HE Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights of the State of Kuwait Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Al Duaij Al-Sabah, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them. They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the humanitarian situation, in addition to ways to strengthen women's role in mediation and humanitarian work.
HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced the State of Qatar's appreciation to Kuwait for providing humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip and its support for women empowerment programs.
In turn, HE the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights Affairs of the State of Kuwait voiced her appreciation to the State of Qatar's constant efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and provide protection for civilians.
She thanked the State of Qatar for hosting the coordination meeting of the heads of government bodies concerned with human rights in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Doha. She also congratulated the State of Qatar for winning the title of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.
