HE Senator of the United States of America Jon Ossoff, met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United States of America Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al-Thani.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries, and developments in the regional and international arenas.

The two sides affirmed their common interest in maintaining constructive dialogue and sustaining positive relations between the United States of America and the State of Qatar.

For his part, HE Senator Jon Ossoff thanked the State of Qatar for its assistance in evacuating American and allied nationals from Afghanistan.
