HE Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan General Hussein Abdelbagi and HE advisor to the president of the Republic of South Sudan for national security affairs and head of the peace mediation mechanism of the Republic of Sudan General Tut Gatluak Manime, as well as a number of ministers and officials in South Sudan met today in Juba with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs' Special Envoy for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and the peace process in the Republic of Sudan, in addition to issues of common concern.
