HE Chairman of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi affirmed that the Committee, in cooperation with Qatar Fund for Development, will begin the process of disbursing cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip on Saturday.

Ambassador Al Emadi said that the distribution process will be implemented through the post offices in the governorates of the Gaza Strip for 100,000 families, $100 per family, adding that the distribution process will continue until Wednesday.

His Excellency pointed out that the distribution process will be carried out in cooperation with the competent government agencies, and within the safety standards of the beneficiaries to preserve sufficient distances between them, as part of preventive measures to confront the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
