Qatar Pays its Full Financial Share to Arab League's Budget

Cairo/Information Office/ 05 March 2017/ HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain has announced that the State of Qatar had paid its full financial contribution to the new financial budget of the Arab League, amounting to $2,938,285.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE Ambassador Al Buainain said that he handed Arab League's Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit a cheque of the amount during a meeting with him on Sunday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League.
HE Al Buainain said that Qatar's financial share payment comes out of its belief in the importance of working to support the joint Arab action in order to achieve the common interests of the Arab nation.
He also added that during the meeting he reviewed with the Arab League's Secretary-General the developments on the Arab arena and issues of common concern.
