Doha/Information Office/19 January 2017/ The State of Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the attack that targeted a military camp in the northern Mali city of Gao, killing and wounding dozens of people.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's rejection of all criminal acts which contravene all values and principles of humanity, and aims to destabilize security and stability. The statement also renewed Qatar's rejection of violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations.
It expressed sincere condolences to the Government and people of Mali and the families of the victims who were killed by this evil crime.
