The State of Qatar expressed Saturday its strong condemnation and denunciation of an explosion that took place in Herat province in the West of Afghanistan, leading to the killing of five children and injuries to 20 other people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed, in a statement released today, the State of Qatar's position of rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the causes and motives.

The Ministry expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
