Qatar Strongly Condemns the Storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque, Israeli Attacks on Worshipers

The State of Qatar expressed its condemnation in the strongest terms of the storming of the Al Aqsa Mosque, by hundreds of Israeli settlers in the early hours of the day, and the injury of a number of worshipers caused by the Israeli occupation forces aggression against them.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that the Israeli attacks on the right to worship and the practice of religious rites are a clear provocation to the feelings of Muslims in the world, and warned of the repercussions of those illegal actions on the region and the world at large.

The statement called on the international community to carry out its moral and legal responsibilities to stop the repeated Israeli attacks on Al Aqsa mosque and religious shrines in Palestine and to provide the necessary protection for Muslim worshipers to exercise their natural right to worship at Al Aqsa Mosque.
