The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident that took place in front of the building of Istanbul Courthouse in Türkiye, and led to the death of two people and the injury of three others, including a police officer.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar's firm position on the rejection of violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. The Ministry also stresses Qatar's full solidarity with the Turkish Republic and its full support for all the measures it takes to maintain security and stability.

The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar's condolences to the victims, the government and the people of Türkiye, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
