The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a church in North Kivu province in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, which resulted in deaths and injuries.  

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons. It also stresses its total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating safe civilians.

The Ministry also expresses the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Congo, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
