The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a security checkpoint in the city of Ismailia, northwest of the Egyptian capital, and resulted in deaths and injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The Ministry expresses the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
