The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a market in the city of Strasbourg in northeastern France and led to deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement affirmed Qatar's full solidarity with the French government, and its full support for all measures taken to maintain security and stability.

The statement also expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families as well as the government and people of France, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
