The State of Qatar voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion which took place in Laghman province in eastern Afghanistan, leaving deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
